Jacquelynn D. Carmichael

Jacquelynn Carmichael graduated with high honors from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 1993. After receiving her J.D., Ms. Carmichael remained in Utah, and began handling different types of personal injury cases, including those involving elder abuse.
In March of 2006, Ms. Carmichael joined Brayton Purcell as an associate. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, elder abuse and civil litigation claims. Concurrent with her employment at Brayton Purcell, Ms. Carmichael is a partner at the law firm of Eisenberg, Gilchrist, and Morton.
Ms. Carmichael has served on the Lawyers Helping Lawyers and the Character and Fitness committees of the Utah State Bar. She is a member of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a co–author of the article “Elder Abuse: Utah’s Dirty Little Secret,” published in the Utah Trial Journal.
Ms. Carmichael lives in Cottonwood Heights with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She is a scuba–diving enthusiast, and also enjoys reading, traveling, skiing, and golfing.
