Paul Vaillancourt
Associate; University of Southern California (B.A. Political Science, 1997); University of Santa Clara (J.D., 2002).
After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, Paul Vaillancourt enrolled in the University of Santa Clara, where he earned his J.D. From there, Mr. Vaillancourt returned to his home in Marin County, CA and began working for Brayton Purcell. He is now involved in all aspects of asbestos litigation.
Mr. Vaillancourt began his legal career at the California Governor’s Office as an undergraduate student. While in law school, he gained legal experience at the District Attorney’s Office in Santa Clara where he assisted in several high–profile homicide and sexual assault cases, which garnered nationwide attention.
Licensed to practice law in California, Mr. Vaillancourt is currently a member of the California Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, the American Bar Association and the Marin County Bar Association. Mr. Vaillancourt’s activities outside the office all involve the ocean, as he is currently training for upcoming surf kayak competitions in both Mexico and Costa Rica.
