Brayton Purcell Sponsors the Marin Valentine's Ball for Local Charities
SAN RAFAEL, CA -- January 19, 2007 -- For the seventh year in a row, Brayton Purcell will be the event sponsor of the Marin Valentine's Ball, an annual black tie affair benefiting nonprofit groups that provide services to low-income families, children and seniors. The event takes place on Saturday evening, February 10, at the Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, two auctions and dancing to the big band music of Pride and Joy.
Proceeds from the Valentine's Ball go to four well-loved local agencies. North Bay Children's Center offers year-round day care, meals for children, parent education and scholarship assistance. Sunny Hills Services has treatment programs for emotionally disturbed, abused and neglected children and teens. The Godmothers of Timothy Murphy School helps raise funds for special education programs that benefit school children with behavioral and learning disabilities. Whistlestop caters to seniors, providing transportation, meals, counseling and places to socialize.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay area, you won't want to miss this major social event, which quickly sells out. For more information and reservations, please call Marin Valentine's Ball at 415-883-6222 or check the Marin Valentine's Ball web site.
