Brayton Purcell a Sponsor of Bowling Fundraiser for Big Brothers, Big Sisters
SAN RAFAEL, CA -- February 2, 2007 -- For the fourth time, Brayton Purcell will be a sponsor of Bowl for Kids' Sake, a fundraiser for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the North Bay. This year's fun-filled event takes place on March 17 and 18. Participants form bowling teams, set their fundraising goals and help solicit contributions on behalf of the charity.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the North Bay is part of a national organization that provides positive, caring role models for children. It serves over 700 children per year in Marin, Solano and Napa counties. Last year, Brayton Purcell employees raised over $2,000 for this worthy cause. This year, the "Brayton Pinheads," the law firm's fearless bowling team, hopes to raise even more. The Pinheads will host pizza parties, pie throwing contests, raffles, a car wash and more, donating all proceeds to the well-being of local kids.
The Country Club Bowl in San Rafael will be the site of the bowling event. There'll be free pizza, sodas, t-shirts and prizes. Team costumes are encouraged! You can sponsor a bowler or bowl yourself. No experience is necessary to take part in this huge community party. For more information about attending or making a donation, see the Bowl for Kids' Sake web site.
