Join the 25th Annual Marin Human Race
SAN RAFAEL, CA -- April 20, 2007 -- The law firm of Brayton Purcell is pleased to be a sponsor of the 25th Annual Marin Human Race, a large fundraiser for Marin County charities. This fun-filled event features a 5K run, a community fair, activities for kids, contests and prizes. Several Brayton Purcell employees will take part in the race to raise money for the Novato Human Needs Center, a local nonprofit group that helps low-income families.
Besides enjoying a beautiful park, participants can eat a hearty pancake breakfast, listen to local bands, and take advantage of free refreshments and giveaways. The children's area will have a giant inflatable playland, games and a separate running track for kids age 12 and under.
The event will take place near the fairgrounds at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, California, on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Organizers expect about 4,000 people to attend. Over 100 charities and socially-responsible businesses will host information booths, including Brayton Purcell. Organizers are looking for runners and running teams as well as volunteers and sponsors to help with the event. For more information, see the Marin Human Race web site. Also, please be sure to stop by the Brayton Purcell booth that day.
