Celebrate Diversity at Novato's Second Annual Multicultural Festival
NOVATO, CA -- April 13, 2007 -- Novato's second annual Multicultural Festival features food, music, dancing and exhibits celebrating the city's diversity. The law firm of Brayton Purcell is pleased to be a sponsor of this outdoor family event, which is brought to you by Novato's Multicultural Commission.
Entertainment includes Aztec dancers, Chinese lion dancers, East Indian bollywood dancers, gospel music, Japanese taiko drummers, karate demonstrations, Russian platter dancers, Tex-Mex music and more. Make sure to reserve the date--April 28. Festivities begin at noon in Miwok Park, a beautiful, shady 35-acre spread that is perfect for a city-wide celebration.
Miwok Park is located at 2200 Novato Boulevard in Novato. Take the Atherton Ave./San Marin Drive exit off Highway 101 in Novato in Marin County, California. Turn right on San Marin Drive. After about 2.7 miles, turn left on Novato Boulevard and continue until you see the park.
About Brayton Purcell's Community Activities
Brayton Purcell will host a booth at the Multicultural Festival. For several years, the law firm has also sponsored Labor Day at the Lake, an event presented by the City of Novato that benefits city parks and youth programs.
Beside sponsoring activities put on by the City of Novato, Brayton Purcell has contributed to many worthy groups including the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer's Association, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization and the Novato Human Needs Center. Local activities include sponsoring these fundraisers: Bowl for Kids' Sake (Big Brothers, Big Sisters), Relay for Life (American Cancer Society), In Celebration of Mothers (Marin Abused Women's Services) and the Marin Human Race (a benefit for many local charities). In 2005, Brayton Purcell received awards as Business of the Year from the Rotary Club of Ignacio and from the Novato Chamber of Commerce.
