Brayton Purcell Sponsors Various ALAC Fundraisers
Join the Breathe Easy Ride to Benefit the American Lung Association of California
ROHNERT PARK, CA — April 27, 2007 — For the tenth year in a row, the law firm of Brayton Purcell presents the Breathe Easy Ride, an annual cycling event through Marin and Sonoma Counties that benefits the American Lung Association of California (ALAC). Our employees also look forward to fundraising and taking part in the ride every year.
The money raised by the Breathe Easy Ride will help support ALAC’s education, research and advocacy programs. Participants find sponsors and choose either a 10–mile, 35–mile or 65–mile route through picturesque country roads. The 65–mile route is quite challenging, and includes scenic hilly paths in the Tomales area.
Save the date—June 30, 2007, beginning at Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park. For further details about riding in the event, sponsoring a cyclist or volunteering to help with preparations, see the Breathe Easy Ride web site.
About the American Lung Association of California
ALAC “works to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.” It provides education about asthma, emphysema, and lung cancer, which are the third leading causes of death in the United States. The group has played a major role in the fight against tobacco use, created programs to help smokers quit the habit and provided information to discourage children and teens from smoking.
