Loving Spoonfuls Cookbook Available

by Brayton Purcell LLP | May 16, 2012 | Brayton Purcell News

Novato Advance

Novato – May 16, 2012 – A cookbook is now available that features the recipes submitted to the second annual Loving Spoonfuls: Marin’s Soup and Dessert Challenge, a benefit for Community Institute for Psychotherapy that was held in Mill Valley earlier this year.

The suggested donation for each cookbook is $10. Go to cipmarin.org, for full details.

The event featured 30 entries from 17 challengers, including 14 of Marin’s finest restaurants. In addition to invited professionals, Novato event sponsors Bank of Marin and Brayton Purcell also participated. Marinscope food writer Leslie Harlib and Marin Farmers Market Executive Director Brigette Moran were among the judges.

Brayton Purcell won the People’s Choice dessert award for its Raspberry Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake.

Brayton Purcell was also honored earlier this year by Assembly member Jared Huffman, who presented his January Sustainable North Bay Award to the Novato company in recognition of the partnership’s environmental business practices and community service. The firm has demonstrated commitment to conservation and sustainability by progressively introducing business practices in their facility to reduce its carbon footprint.
