Undisturbed, asbestos does not pose a risk to human health, but when the fibers are broken down they can cause terrible problems within the human respiratory system.

Asbestos is still being discovered around the country, as well. The first evidence of naturally-occurring asbestos in Southern Nevada was found just a few months ago, sparking worry in the town’s surrounding the area.
