Defective Knee Replacements
Currently, Zimmer is the largest producer of knee replacement implants. In 1995, the company released its NexGen Complete Knee Solution System, which was one of its most successful products. Zimmer worked to modify its original design, and created the NexGen Flex line of products in 2001. These new products were not as successful as the Complete Knee Solution System, and numerous reports of complications were reported to the FDA.
A few of the defective devices include:
- Zimmer NexGen CR-Flex Porous Femoral component
- Zimmer NexGen LPS Flex Gender
- Zimmer MIS Quad-Sparing Total Knee Replacement
If you were an active individual and were unable to resume normal activities due to loosening and complications with a knee replacement device, you might be eligible for compensation.
