Jury Renders $5.2 Million Verdict in Utah Peritoneal Mesothelioma Case

A jury in Salt Lake City, Utah found in favor of Vickie Warren, suffering from a rare case of peritoneal mesothelioma, in her products liability design defect and products liability failure to warn trial against Georgia–Pacific, LLP, Hamilton Materials, Inc., and Union Carbide Corporation. The asbestos products manufactured by the defendants were found to be the cause of her peritoneal mesothelioma. ( Vickie Warren v.
