Evan Hoffman

I was born in Los Angeles before heading east to Boston as a child, where I grew up outside the city with my parents and younger sister. I attended American University in Washington D.C. for college where I realized that my passion for politics and history could best be put to use in law. I moved back to Boston to attend Suffolk University School of Law, where I developed an interest in toxic tort litigation, antitrust, and class action practice.

While in law school I law clerked at a well-known plaintiff's firm in Boston where I learned the ins and outs of toxic tort litigation and other areas of the law. After graduation, I started at that same firm as an associate and continued working there for the next 15 years. During my time there, I represented many victims of toxic exposure throughout the country, including several mothers and children suffering from severe birth defects resulting from hazardous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, and other contaminants. I also spent years representing pension funds, institutional investors, states, and other political subdivisions who were systematically defrauded by major custodial banking institutions for foreign exchange pricing. On behalf of these institutions and the whistleblowers who brought these claims to light under the SEC and False Claims Act provisions, I helped recover nearly $1 billion dollars in settlements for our clients.

In 2021, I moved from Boston to Colorado where I continued my work on a nationwide scale, including filing the first artificial stone silicosis case in Colorado.

What motivated/inspired you to become an attorney?

I enjoy the satisfaction of doing everything possible to make people whole were harmed through no fault of their own and holding those corporations and other entities responsible for their actions.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

I enjoy meeting my clients, getting to know them, and putting the many pieces of the proverbial puzzle together in order to build a coherent and convincing case on their behalf. My practice often times requires me to learn about many areas of science, medicine, business, and even law that are new to me, and I genuinely like the process of learning those areas as part of winning a case.

What are your hobbies and interests? What do you like to do when you're not working?

I enjoy golf, skiing, hiking, being outdoors, any and all Boston sports franchises, and spending time with my wife and two kids.
