Sodaro v. Westside Building Materials Corp., et al. – Para‑occupational/take‑home asbestos exposure suffered by a lifelong non‑smoker and career nurse who, from infancy through 1978, inhaled asbestos dust brought home on her plasterer father’s work clothes and family car after applying exterior stucco products, including Zonolite, at hospitals, tract homes, banks, and commercial sites in Southern California. She later developed asbestosis and asbestos‑caused diaphragmatic pleural plaques diagnosed in 2022.
March/April 2026: Case settled during jury selection in excess of $500,000.00 as to all defendants.
