Brayton Purcell Attorneys Nominated for Trial Lawyer of the Year

Recently, three Brayton Purcell LLP attorneys were nominated for the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Lawyer of the Year award. Gil Purcell, Jennifer Alesio, and Jason Rose have been recognized for their exemplary trial work in 2014.

Mr. Purcell and Mr. Rose have been nominated as a result of their work in the Major v. Lorillard Tobacco Co. trial, while Mr. Purcell and Ms. Alesio have been recognized for their work in the Whalen v. John Crane Inc. trial. These two trials resulted in victories against one of Big Tobacco’s oldest companies and one of the largest manufacturers of asbestos products in the United States.

The 16th Annual Trial Lawyer of the Year Gala is set to take place on April 16, 2015. The event includes a reception, dinner, and full program in which the winners will be announced. Other Bay Area legal professionals will be recognized for their hard work in 2014, with awards such as the Distinguished Mediator Award, the Civil Justice Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Congratulations to all of the nominees. We will be rooting for you, Gil, Jason, and Jennifer!
