As 2016 approaches, Brayton Purcell LLP has been reflecting on our New Year’s Resolutions. Our three goals may sound a bit familiar, but they remain relevant and important as time goes on.

Ban Asbestos

Unfortunately, asbestos is still not banned in the United States. Despite thousands of mesothelioma, asbestosis, and lung cancer diagnoses and deaths, the substance remains legal to use in different products and materials. We want to see asbestos banned for good in 2016.

Cure Cancer

While we are not scientists on the verge of curing cancer within our Novato offices, we do believe that banning asbestos completely will help to end the cancers associated with the substance.

Spread Awareness

We will continue to do all that we can to spread asbestos awareness in 2016. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other social networks to help us spread the word about this hazardous substance.
