If you are a cyclist, you might want to hear about the recent recall by BMC. The Alpen challenge, Mass challenge, and Urban challenge bicycle models with Aprebic Forks were recently pulled from store shelves when it was found that the forks can crack or break. This crack or break happens above the break mount and poses a fall hazard to consumers. The bicycle models come in black and yellow, or black and red color combinations, and were sold by BMC bicycle dealers from December 2011 to June 2013.If you purchased one of these models during this time, you should immediately discontinue use of the bike and contact a local BMC authorized dealer for instructions on receiving a replacement fork. FDA Recalls EzriCare and Delsam Pharma’s Artificial Tears

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned consumers and health care practitioners in early February 2023, not to purchase and to immediately stop using EzriCare Artificial Tears or Delsam Pharma’s Artificial Tears due to potential bacterial contamination. Using these contaminated products increases risk of eye infections that could result in blindness or death. Later in the month, the FDA recommended that Global Pharma recall Delsam Pharma’s Artificial Eye Ointment, and the firm agreed to initiate a recall of all unexpired lots of EzriCare Artificial Tears and Delsam Pharma’s Artificial Tears.
