Trial Type:  Retired pipefitter involved in San Francisco shipyard engine room and boiler overhauls outfitted with asbestos-containing insulation, cements, gaskets and packings with immunoglobulin k light chain-restricted Multiple Myeloma (lymphoid peripheral B Cell neoplasia) and bilateral calcified pleural plaques.
Case resolved after bifurcated evidentiary hearings prior to jury selection as to all case defendants in excess of $750,000.00.
April – October 2023

Kenneth Parrott v. Pacific Coast Building Products Inc., et al.
Civil Jury Trial
Superior Court of the State of California for the City and County of San Francisco
Judge:  Hon. Joseph M. Quinn
Trial Type – Career Drywall Taper, subsequent to a prior case for Asbestosis, developed Bladder Cancer caused by his occupational exposures to asbestos predominantly from Joint Compound products – including from Hamilton Building Materials, Inc. and Kaiser Gypsum Company, that he mixed, applied, sanded and cleaned up at various San Francisco Bay commercial and residential construction jobs dating to the 1970s.
Case resolved as to all case defendants during pre-trial hearings and commencement of Motions in Limine in excess of $750,000.00 as to all remaining case defendants not completely released in the earlier Asbestosis case.

Evelyn Chandler, as Successor-in-Interest to and as Wrongful Death Heir of Gail Chandler, Deceased, et ux. v. Hennessy Industries, LLC ( AMMCO); et al.

Trial Type:  Wrongful Death – Non Small Cell Lung Cancer with Bone Metastasis – Career Auto Mechanic, Domestic and Foreign (brake, clutch and engine repairs – including arcing and grinding of friction materials, brake shoes, gasket removal and installations), Chandler Automotive, Carmichael, California;  Capital City Chevron, Sacramento, California; Carmichael Automotive, Rancho Cordova, California; Exxon/Union 76, Tahoe City, California;  The Tire Mart, Grass Valley, California.  42-Pack-Year Cigarette Smoking History.  No Clinical or Pathologic Diagnosis of Asbestosis.
Case resolved as to all case defendants after Motions In Limine before commencement of jury selection in excess of $1,000,000.00.
March 2023

Darrell Gentry & Victoria Gentry v. Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc. et al.

February 2023

Anthony Adams & Janice Adams v. ABB Motors And Mechanical Inc. (fka Baldor Electric Company) et al.

Trial Type:  Career Electrician Pleural Mesothelioma from servicing electrical motors, rewinds and repairs, motor cleaning, stripping and clean outs, coil cutting, burnout oven repair work, bead blasting, U-Frame and T-Frame motor teardowns, refurbishing and overhauls involving “Asbestos-Protected Windings represented by motor manufacturers to be “safe” despite using ground asbestos and asbestos-containing gaskets, friction linings and parts.
Case resolved at assignment to branch department to commence trial as to all case defendants pending in this California action (companion New York venued case pending) in excess of $1,750,000.00.
