Camp Lejeune Claims Deadline Approaching

Over the last two years we have all seen advertisements on television notifying us that between 1953 to 1987, the drinking water at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina was contaminated with cancer-causing chemicals, causing various diseases, including certain cancers, kidney conditions, and neurological disorders in Marines, their family members, and civilian workers stationed or working at the base.

Dry Shampoo – Benzene – Leukemia, lymphoma, aplastic anemia

Testing via gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and other methods, as well as numerous product recalls, have demonstrated dangerously high levels of benzene in dry shampoo products, including but not limited to the following brands: Tresemme, Dove, Nexxus, Sauve, and BedHead. Hess Corp Reaches Agreement for Mesothelioma Victims

After years of litigation, the Hess Corporation agreed to settle hundreds of asbestos exposure lawsuits filed on the island of St. Croix. The company will establish a $106 million trust for victims, their surviving family members, and those that may be diagnosed in the future. A Hess-owned oil refinery operated on the island from 1965 to 1998, and exposed workers and people staying on the island to asbestos and benzene. EPA asks Residents with Indiana Plastics Fire Debris on their Properties to Call Them

On April 11, 2023, a plastics fire at a warehouse spewed hydrogen cyanide, benzene, and asbestos into the air in Richmond, Indiana. The EPA  found asbestos in debris that fell in surrounding neighborhoods up to 1.5 miles from the fire. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) urges anyone with debris on their property from the Indiana Plastics Fire to not disturb the debris and call them immediately. Benzene Found in Some Dry Shampoo

High levels of benzene, a cancer-causing chemical, have been detected in some dry shampoo products, according to a new report from Valisure, an independent laboratory. Last month some aerosol dry shampoos – including Dove, Nexxus, Suave, TIGI, and TRESemmé were voluntarily recalled because of the potential presence of benzene.
